Want color? Stain is available for an extra charge depending on bar size. Need custom tweaks? Shoot us a message, we make these to order and can build to your specs.
Unit ships in three separate pieces for easier delivery and setup. You'll just need muscle, beer, and maybe a buddy who owes you a favor.
Buyer Guidance: Safety, Care & Delivery
Food-Contact Surfaces
Counter and prep surfaces on this unit are finished with an exterior-grade sealant. Before using any surface for food prep, confirm with us that the specific finish applied to your order is food-safe. We can specify a food-contact-approved topcoat on request — just mention it when you reach out about custom options. Stainless steel sink basins are food-contact safe as supplied.
Grill Heat Clearance
Built-in grill installations require minimum clearances to combustible materials. As a general industry guideline, maintain at least 24 inches of overhead clearance and at least 12 inches of side clearance between the grill body and any combustible structure (wood framing, overhead shelving, or pergola elements). Because clearance requirements vary by grill brand and model, always follow the clearance specifications in your grill manufacturer's installation manual. Contact us if you need build drawings or cutout dimensions for your specific grill model before ordering.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Wood surfaces: Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking or pressure washing. Reapply an exterior-grade wood sealant or oil annually, or as needed based on wear and weather exposure.
- Sink: Clean with non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and wipe dry after use to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
- Grill area: Clean grease traps and grill grates regularly per the grill manufacturer's instructions. Keep the surrounding wood surfaces free of grease splatter to reduce fire risk.
Weatherproofing
All units are built for outdoor use and finished with an exterior-grade sealant, but wood is a natural material that responds to moisture and UV exposure over time. To extend the life of your kitchen:
- Use a fitted weatherproof cover when the unit is not in use, especially during rain or extended off-season periods.
- Inspect sealant annually and reapply as needed.
- Where possible, position the unit under a pergola, patio cover, or overhang to limit direct rain and sun exposure.
Production Lead Time
Each outdoor kitchen is built to order. Current production lead time is approximately 4–8 weeks from order confirmation, depending on size, customization, and shop workload at time of order. Contact us before purchasing if you have a hard deadline — we'll confirm availability and realistic timing for your specific build.
Delivery
The unit ships as three separate pieces via freight carrier (LTL) to keep handling manageable. Freight delivery is curbside by default — the carrier will bring the pieces to the end of your driveway. Inside delivery, liftgate service, or scheduled delivery windows may be available for an additional fee; contact us to arrange. Assembly on-site is required. Delivery timelines are typically 1–2 weeks after the unit ships, depending on your location. You will receive tracking information once your order leaves the shop.
